Goodwill to Expand into Medical Equipment Supplies
January 30, 2012
Goodwill, a company known for its products such as affordable toys, small appliances and mildly used prom gowns will soon expand its services by entering into the field of medical supplies. The group is planning to sell medical equipment supplies ranging from crutches to hospital beds.
The company from Southern New Jersey & Philadelphia will collaborate with Your ReSource, a nonprofit organization based in Ewing that collects ramps, wheelchairs and other medical equipments, then cleans and refurbishes the items to resell.
Effective right away, Goodwill will collect medical supplies and equipment including lift chairs, hospital beds, canes, crutches, and bath and shower items at its 24 locations throughout the Delaware Valley and Your ReSource will restore the items.
